Chris Holt
Born and raised in Middle Tennessee, Chris attended Brentwood Academy and received his Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering from Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville. While working as a Construction Project Manager for Cracker Barrel Store, Chris went back to school and received his Masters of Business Administration in 2008. Chris formed HCG in 2013 and the rest is history.
Chris is a proud father to two children, Thomas and Margaret. Chris is also an avid duck hunter as you may have gleaned from our Duck Hunting page.
Brett McCord
Brett was born and raised here in middle Tennessee. Brett has worked on projects of all sizes from varying perspectives throughout his career. Working his way through the ranks from tool belt to project manager. He has worked on projects ranging from industrial renovations, multiple school projects, health departments, federal programs, and the list goes on. He is anchored by his loving wife (Perri Lynn) and his two sons (Levi and Lane). Hunting and fishing are a staple in his family, passing a passion and respect for the outdoors on to his sons.
Gary Steeley
Gary, or One-Eye as he is known to everyone, was born in raised in "Music City," Tennessee and has lived in East Nashville and Inglewood. One-Eye was a graduate of Hume Fogg. He has been a drywall extraordinaire for 38 years. His craftsmanship can be seen on buildings like the AT&T Building (Batman Building), the Cumberland, the Veridian, the Country Music Hall of Fame, and the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt. He has also done work on all the hospital facilities in Nashville. One-Eye loves to fish, cultivate his garden and play with his great grandson.
James Duncan
James was born and raised in Arlington, TX. He moved to Linden, TN after high school. He has earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville. James has been in light and heavy construction for over 20 yrs. James and his wife Gina have been married for 23 years. They have two children Talon 22 and Isabelle 16. James enjoys playing golf, fishing, going to the beach and family outings.
Haley Bullwinkle
Haley was born in Northern California and raised in Orange County, California. In April 2021, she moved to Tennessee with her parents and dog, settling in Franklin, Tennessee. She has worked in the fields of retail management, banking, and administration. She is now keeping the Holt office in order through her position as Office Manager.
